What is the Carbon Telegram Companion?

The Carbon Telegram Companion is one of two front-ends that access Carbon. It lets you trade perpetuals, manage your portfolio, receive alerts, and interact with Teams — all directly from Telegram.

Can I really trade from Telegram?

Yes. Carbon supports fully integrated trading via Telegram. You can place trades using:

• Natural language (e.g., long BTC $100 at 10x)

• Slash commands (e.g., /long BTC 100 10x)

All trades placed through Telegram are synced instantly with the Webapp — one account, two interfaces.

What are Teams and how do they work?

Teams are trading groups that compete on weekly leaderboards. Every Telegram group with the Carbon Bot added can become a Teams.

As a team member, your trades contribute to your team’s overall PnL. Each week, the Top 10 Teams earn bonus points, distributed among members based on individual PnL contribution.

How do I join a Team?

Two ways:

1. Via Telegram: Just type /join in a group where the Carbon Bot is present.

2. Via Webapp: Go to the Teams section and apply to join any open Team

How do I create a Team?

To start your own Team:

1. Create a new Telegram group.

2. Add the Carbon Bot and make it an admin.

3. Type /create — that’s it. Your Team is now live.

The Team will be named after your Telegram group. Anyone in the group can join by typing /join.

Can I trade inside Team chats?

Not directly; trading happens inside the Carbon Bot. However, in Team groups, all trade cards are automatically shared. Members can:

• Tap on any trade to view it

• Click ''Long'' or ''Short'' to automatically copy it from the bot.

How do I check my open positions or PnL?

Use the following commands in private chat with the Carbon Bot:

• /portfolio → view open positions

• /pnl → see historical performance

• /leaderboard → check Cartel rankings

Or view the same data on the Webapp — it’s all synced.

How do I receive trading alerts?

You’ll automatically get real-time alerts via Telegram for:

• Executed trades

• SL/TP triggers

• Liquidations

• Cartel updates

• Weekly point summaries

No setup required.

Do I need a wallet to use Telegram?

No. You can log in and trade using just your Telegram account — no wallet setup is required. You’ll still be able to deposit, withdraw, and manage your account securely.

Are my funds safe using Telegram?

Yes. All trades are executed through the same Carbon backend and SYMMIO infrastructure. Telegram is just a front-end layer — your funds, PnL, and positions are handled securely on-chain and visible via the Webapp at any time.

What does /referrals do?

Typing /referrals in the bot gives you:

• Your unique referral code and link

• A breakdown of how many referrals you’ve made

• How many stacks you've earned
