Carbon Points are your path to future ownership. Every trade you make earns you points—and the more you trade, the more you stack.

The first week of Season 1 started on July 16th 2025.

Every week, 200k points are distributed among traders and teams.

How to Earn Points

• Trade and Earn

  • Every trade on Carbon earns you Points.

• Team Bonuses

  • Each week, the Top 10 Teams receive bonus Points, distributed to members based on their individual contribution to the Teams’ PnL. Perform well, and you’ll get a larger share of the Points.

• Referral Rewards

  • Invite others to Carbon and earn even more:

  • You’ll earn 20% of the points your referees generate.

  • Referees also get a 10% bonus boost to their own points when they sign up through your referral.

How are Points calculated?

Points are divided between Trading & Teams. The majority of points go towards regular trading; teams merely act as a bonus. The exact formula is dynamic and mysterious by design.

Will Wash Trading & Sybil Activity be penalized?

Carbon reserves the right to slash any points given out if an account gets flagged.

When are Points distributed?

Points are distributed weekly at 00:00 UTC on Thursdays.
