# Points Program
**Carbon Points are your path to future ownership.**
The first week of Season 1 started on July 16th 2025. The last week of Season 1 ended on the 16th of April 2026.
In total, 7,852,628 points were distributed across 952 users.

Points are earned by trading on Carbo, using various metrics. The exact formula is dynamic and mysterious by design.
Will Wash Trading & Sybil Activity be penalized?
Carbon reserves the right to slash any points given out if an account gets flagged.
